Benefit of Rituxan added to FC over 70 years - uncertain

Adding Rituxan to FC for patients over 70 years is of uncertain benefit

according to a paper by the FDA, J. Casak, M.D., Division of Biological

Oncology Products, U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The abstract goes on to state in part:

" Exploratory analysis in patients older than 70 suggested that there was no

benefit to patients when rituximab was added to FC. "
