Guest guest
Dear Terry, Thank you for jogging my memory - turns out I have this paper in my files. It's good to know that this is still the definitive study. Although I notice that (some of?) the doses used were higher than what I received & what I thought was fairly standard. Doses in this trial were: rituximab 375-500mg/m2; fludarabine 25-30mg/m2; cyclophosphamide 250-300mg/m2. I had thought that the lower dose for each (which is what I had in 2009) was the " standard " dose now? Thank you again for clearing this up for me. Regards, Marcia in CA, dx'd 2000 We know that those who are mutate have the longer remissions from this paper: Tam CS, O’Brien S, Wierda W, et al. Long-term results of the fludarabine, cyclophosphamide, and rituximab regimen as initial therapy of chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Blood. 2008;112:975-980.
