Guest guest
I thought there was only 4 or 5 of us. Are there more? I heard in BC there is a ton of mold. Is that what you were thinking? Guest guest
Well I say " legal " for weed because people are sitting there smoking it like they do cigarettes now and I never see anything getting done about it. I also haven't heard anything about it in awhiel... Then again, I try and refrain from keeping up with the news *8-) > Hey, when did they legalize it behind my back? Guest guest
Guh! Yeah.. I have tried 2 kinds. They are O.K. in eggs but on their own they are pretty damn nasty. I started to take some lactaid on the rare occassions I felt like eating dairy. But sure, let me know the kind you use. Maybe it is one I haven't tried > Hi , > > What about rice cheese? Guest guest
Holy crap do they ever! Whatever a big company will pay them to promote or ban... aspertame vs stevia, pharmeceuticals vs herbs, chlorinated and florinated chemically treated " drinking " water, FDA approved poisons... Man, I could go on for a day Makes me sick to my stomach to think of all the corruption, pain and suffering *sigh* *8-) > I don't believe the government owns us, or knows > what's best for us. Guest guest
After Justice Minister Cauchon's meeting with US Attorney General Ashcroft Canada delayed introducing a bill to decriminalize marijuana. Many states in the US are legalizing it with a doctor's prescription but the feds keep butting in. What a lame war. > Re: Dairy > > Hey, when did they legalize it behind my back? Guest guest
Hey, you are like me LOL I don't watch the news either. It's not healthy LOL Try telling that to all the news junkies. I just started reading a TIME magazine article on it today in the Podiatrist's office. Washington is blaming BC for their kids (teenagers) trafficking weed across from BC to their schools. Dave (my partner) said they've been doing that for years. I'm still scared to smoke outside even though I smell it downtown all the time. Cya : ) Re: Dairy Well I say " legal " for weed because people are sitting there smoking it like they do cigarettes now and I never see anything getting done about it. Guest guest
I hear ya. I've never joined any revolutionary (I'm not sure if I should write this in a group that can be searched, the next thing you know, I'll be arrested for being a Canadian terrorist LMAO) group, but it has crossed my mind a few times. I just don't believe in dealing with the issues in a violent manner. Mich Re: Dairy Holy crap do they ever! Guest guest
Dee, typically the NotMilk agendists connive to lump all dairy products together as bad, when clearly such a case could only be made for a few select components, which can easily be removed, leaving some of the most positive natural foods in existance. By not upgrading their information to include a mountain of evidence that contradicts their stance, they (connive to) manufacture for themselves a kind of " fringe " following. In terms of health advice this is a wrongful action. Anyone got a better word? con·nive (k & #601;-n & #299;v') intr.v., -nived, -niv·ing, -nives. To cooperate secretly in an illegal or wrongful action; collude: The dealers connived with customs officials to bring in narcotics. To scheme; plot. To feign ignorance of or fail to take measures against a wrong, thus implying tacit encouragement or consent: The guards were suspected of conniving at the prisoner's escape. Guest guest
When we started with Dr. G. 4 years ago,and found out she is allergic to dairy, we simply told her she is allergic to milk, all cheese, and anything with chocolate. We didn't buy any other variations of any of it as not to confuse her. After a couple of weeks, she didn't miss it, and enjoyed being in charge of what not to eat. We also put a list of the refrigerator. Our whole family gave it up as well. It just seemed much safer to make it a blanket statement to protect her when she is not with us. She also knows not to eat any cracker with cheese in it, or cheeto's, cheddar rice cakes... she eats a high protein diet with lots of raw veggies. She drinks water, and diet drinks. She feels so much better. We just knew it would be impossible for her to give up her milk and goldfish, but she did.
