Guest guest
My local labs have been strange the last 6 weeks or so. I have a very high WBC so I'm used to odd things. (298,600k). This time they reported 79% lymphs, 5% neuts, 3% monocytes and 13% Metamyelocytes (??). I've looked online and I'm getting mixed messages about what a metamyelocyte is. Anyone able to help me? I did very strenuous dancing on Sunday and a blood draw on Tuesday, so my system may not have settled down. (My Potassium was a bit high as well, which happens after I do my hula kahiko .. never get my LDH done then as it's always high after a dance session) The blood draw before came back with 1% lymphs, 93% atypical lymphs, which was new for me as well. I'm hoping it's a new machine or tech rather than some transformation. The report in both cases says " Diff Type ... Manual " Any help would be appreciated.
