I'm been reading a lot and it seems like quite a few people are diagnosed with

just blood test and not bone marrow or bone biopsy. Is that true?

I was diagnosed only with blood tests, fish test, which determined that there

was the P. chromosone. My oncologist said there was no need to do a diagnostic

bone test but that he'll be doing them in the future.

HI,

In my case A major problem with my WBC was detected with blood work but the

first doc I went to did a BMB to make sure. Of course I do remember seeing

something about a new type of blood work that may make BMB's obsolete. That

would be great if it is true.
