My dear friends -

Some of you may have noticed my lack of activity on the group.

This was caused by a round of health problems beginning last fall, and

unfortunately still continuing. Not CLL, but I do believe that the limping

immune system caused by the CLL is behind it all.

I am very grateful for the help of our Moderator, and Koffman

has been kind enough to keep an eye on the group as well.

I was delighted to see how well the group is functioning. And doctors

Furman and Hamblin are much apparent. Going forward I would like to get to be

more active again.

News:

The LRF are generating disease specific stuff on CLL, e-newsletters

and the like. You should be receiving them.

On March 2 there is a super CLL teleconference (free, of course). Get

details of LRF's or CIG's web site.

We've been talking about an advocacy appeal to the FDA concerning

their approval process. Still in the early stages, but.......

When I saw the hundreds of e-mails, but not one posting on

BASIC, I got the message. Originally it seemed like a good idea for

newbies and

the like, but, as I was warned at the time, nobody uses it, all post on

. The vast majority of members are subscribed on both groups. So we will

terminate BASIC (, please.) now has over 700 members,

I'd like to hit 1000 soon!

Wishing you all health, health, health!!!

PS: As I'm sending this to the groups as well as to the CIG list, some of

you may get it more than once. Sorry.
