Guest guest
Chuck, Hang in there. You will find lots of advice, support etc from this list that should be helpful to you. I was quite anxious, upset, befuddled when lst diagnosed in 11/05 but have remained at stage 0, watch and wait since that time with no symptoms so there is a wide variation in the course of CLL. You can read on this site, CLL topics, ACOR and get educated but go at your own pace so that you are not overwhelmed. It is probably not good to live CLL 24/7 and it is important to cont. with your normal life as best as you can. R.
Guest guest
Yes I am working with oncologist. I two days back met Dr. Kipps A well know doc in University of Sandiego specialist in CLL. I live in Los angeles and was able to drive to him. So far he did not say much. My CT scan and biopsy results are normal. I have a currently count of 30,000 with deletion 13 chromosome. Trying to be normal since last few days but very scared. I have two kids and keep looking at them !!Got a booklet from doc which give you the ideas of treatments available and future treatments to come........will keep in touch with everyone around in the group. > Are you working with a hematologist?
