Guest guest
Friends - - As most of you know, we had such a meeting once before. It was two Saturday afternoon hours, with a short opening by Dr. Furman, and then an open and unstructured discussion with him on CLL/SLL. It was very successful, people are not exposed to such opportunities. Dr. has very kindly volunteered to do a second such meeting. We have tried to combine it with the Lymphoma Research Foundation's annual seminar in Brooklyn at the end of September, but their program is just too busy with other interesting issues to allow CIG the two hours we need. So we are back to our original format, which calls for an early afternoon on a Saturday. Dr. says he is OK with that, so we are talking to him about a Saturday in the second half of October. When I first made the announcement about this event I received a so-so response. I'm sure you will understand that I cannot ask Dr. to offer such a session if say, five, people are going to show up. I also understand that no one can make a commitment two months in advance. But I can ask you to give me a strong expression of interest, off group, so that I can do some planning. Hope we can pull this off.
