FDA recalls alcohol prep swabs

this came today from one of my specialty pharmacies, but as you can see it

pertains to many brands... if Triad is the underlying manufacturer.

Boxes as well as pre packed kits such as dressing, infusion, etc.

At one time I was getting strange skin infections after IVIG infusions and we

ruled out everything else.. the gamma globulin, the saline push, but there was

no information on the 'pads'. At the suggestion of Becton Dikinson, manufacturer

of the saline, we began using our own hibistat pads and no more infections.
