My CLL not even in the Blood Yet

That's right, I was " accidentally " dx'd with CLL last week.

It is still only in the bone marrow and it has only

compromised 2% of the marrow cells.

I can't find any info on being dx'd this early. The

Oncologist that found this said it probably wouldn't show up

in the blood for another 5 years.

I am really not too worried about dying from this as I have

so many other things that should get me quicker than CLL.

The reason they did the bone marrow is because of a mass I

have in my lung that has been biopsied 6 times over the last

decade and only shows inflammation but lites up on a PET

SCAN and continues to grow slowly. The last SUV was 10.9.

I know other things like infections can cause high SUV

numbers, but they haven't a clue.

I also have an as yet to be named Autoimmune disease, on

Plaquenil for that.

Hashimotos Thyroid, High Blood Pressure, COPD, Asthma and

something that is keeping my Neutrophils just above normal.

I am sure there are a few other things.. Oh yeah..

Myoclonic Dystonia. That should cover it, and still there

is probably something I am fogetting.

I am 58 next month.

So if there is a question in all this, it would be any one

else every been Dx'd while the CLL is only in bone marrow

and at such a low percentage? And if so, any idea on the

possible progression of this?

Thank you.

C.
