Guest guest
I had my spleen removed in December and seemed to be doing great in the rbc and platelet department. Dealing with lots of muscle and joint pain. But otherwise, you know, troubles but after 12 years of CLL and then the last 4 with AIHA, then December with ITP, I really thought the crises were over. Today I found out i have prolymphocytic leukemia with 50% of lymphs being prolymphs. I am starting a novel treatment of levcade plus bendamustine for day 1, day 2 only benda then day 6 one more round of levcade. If that doesn't make a dent, we'll try revlimid. I know the odds are not good and i guess the odds of getting this are pretty low. Just trying to take it in. Getting my affairs in order as my doc said if we can't stop the prolymphs i have only 6-12 months. I live alone, have not family and have 3 beloved cats i need to know are safe. Anyone out there who has been treated successfully for this? Thanks all, Carol
