Guest guest
my husband (dx with SMZL, splenectomy) had blood work, the lab report says: hemolyzed blood specimen, they cannot perform ALT (liver enzyme test). Strangely his hemoglobin is 17,8 (he never had it so high) his hematocrit is 51,3, red blood cells are high, bilirubin is higher than normal... What does it mean?? Does hemolyzed blood interfere with these results? Or it is because of splenectomy? thanks in advance for any clue...
