Dr. Furman has shared with us these drugs in the past. Have

there been any changes?

What are the current recommended drugs to protect one from

viral infections and bacterial infections during cycles of

chemo. How long should one take them after all cycles are

completed?.

I've had R CHOP. Is valacyclovir 500 mg. daily recommended

to prevent shingles?

Is Bactrim still recommended? If so what strength? I got

pneumonia during or immediately after R CHOP.
