Asthma in 4 month old after DPT/HIB/IPV

OK all of you walking textbooks ,

I need some info on Asthma in relation to vaccines in infants. I have a

friend who has NEVER listened to me on the whole vax issue, she turns a deaf

ear, and tells me she DOES NOT want to hear it...now, when something happens,

she does..

Her sil has a baby boy. He is 4.5 months old. He was vaxed at birth with the

hep b, at 2 months with the dpt/hib/ipv/hep b #2 within a week of that appt.

he developed severe diarrhea, to the point of hospitalization for

dehydration. They told her it was the formula The formula switch didn't

help, but he got better eventually. He is now on a different formula. After

that he developed an ear inf/URI that lasted 2 weeks.

He was doing better, except I had noticed at a get together that he

constantly twitches, stares weirdly, sways his head from side to side like

Stevie Wonder. He can't look at you in the eye...very strange. Have any of

you seen this???? He was 3 months when I noticed this. He was also what the

mom said..colic..very irritable. When I mentioned my concern to my friend the

next day she got really annoyed at me, and told me there was NOTHING wrong

with him. I told her to please not take offense, but as a nurse, it just

didn't add up....something was wrong....... neurological in the least.

That leads us to today. He had his 4 month shots..dpt/hib/ipv he had them 4

days ago. My friend called me this evening. The baby was rushed to the ER

with a severe breathing problem! They pumped him full of steroids, epi,

nebulizer treatments and they admitted him. They said he has asthma. This

is SO sad to me. I know it is NOT coincidence! Can someone give me some

links/articles etc on the link between vax and asthma in infants?? All I can

find pertains to older people not babies. My friend is starting to belive I

am NOT crazy

This is the same friend who says that she trusts God to protect her kids and

it is Gods will with the vax issue!! It is SO sad to me, but at least I

try. I asked her if Dr. gave your child a glass of Cyanide to drink,

would you let her? She said if God told me to I would.

She won't even read one article, look at my PDR, she said her older 2 kids

are OK so she will vax her next kids..she just had a baby too. Meanwhile the

older one is always sick, she has a cholesterol of 296..she is 8 years old!!!

The younger (4) has asthma, and terrible allergies, and has had so many yeast

infections, I have lost track. The mom " forgets " to get the Lotromin and then

yells at the poor baby for scratching her behind I told her the

alternative treatments, and she won't hear of it. It burns me to the point

that I don't even want to spend time with her! I feel like it is neglect on

her part to not even want to know!......OK sorry I have needed to get that

out!

I am just so FED UP with neglectful, stupid parents!!
