The belief is that if enough people are vaxed there is herd immunity,no

circulation of the measles virus,therefore everyone(immune or not) is

protected. The threat is said to be that more unvaxed increases the

circulation of the measles virus,and those not immune despited being

vaccinated are then at danger.More vaxed=no virus circulation.Despite titer

levels you never know if you will get the disease until you are actually

exposed to the virus. JMO

Well not immune,but perhaps they will be able to *handle* the virus without

any of the so often mentioned complications occuring. Plus now the situation

is that measles is occuring in age groups where complications are more

common.I think I read one time that prior to the use of the vaccine the

typical age for getting measles was 4-6 and complications were rare. Now

though the ages like 1yo and under or teens are contracting the virus,and

more complications are seen.

So basically... a strong (healthy) person who is of strong genes is likely

to be immune even without the vaccine right? I mean all this vaccinating

the general public is causing another problem that natural selection has

taken care of in generations past... survival of the fittest.
