Thanks Rick, but that does not help me regards insurance

billing. I will call the hospital billing department and

see if they can't shed light on how and why they bill this

test the way they did. I was just hoping someone knew how

it was classified within the lab that does the test.

The reason I am asking is because I don't understand the

insurance billing on this test.

My Insurance pays 100% of blood tests, although in this case

it was done on the BMB and I am being billed over 33% of the

bill.

So I would appreciate any info anyone has to help me

understand.
