Guest guest
Dear CLLers - Surely most of you are aware by now that the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF)'s North American Educational Forum on Lymphoma is taking place in New York this year, September 30 to October 2. Supported by us, the CLL Information Group (CIG), this is the flagship event of the year. You can find out all about it by going to http://www.lymphoma.org . Do not miss it if you can possibly manage. The New York Working Group for CLL/SLL has been trying to organize a follow-up to our first very successful meeting. The format for this meeting was Dr. Furman making a short presentation, this being followed by nearly two hours of OPEN discussion, an opportunity rarely available to discuss the illness in an open format. We think that we have finally managed to put together the timing of our second meeting, to be managed by Dr. Morton . We are currently focusing at 2pm on Sunday October 2, for about 2 hours of pure CLL/SLL. Although the meeting would take place at the Brooklyn Marriott, and be sponsored by the NY CIG Working Group, it would be open to all LRF Seminar attendees and should be a unique opportunity, especially for those who do not normally attend NY meetings. We'll send you further details, but if you're a CLLer do plan to stay for this event, about 2-4 on Sunday. Best regards,
