Guest guest
What kind of test is a flow cytometry? Is it a blood test, or a DNA test, part of a biopsy or what? The reason I am asking is because I don't understand the insurance billing on this test. My Insurance pays 100% of blood tests, although in this case it was done on the BMB and I am being billed over 33% of the bill. So I would appreciate any info anyone has to help me understand. C. Guest guest
Flow cytometry is a test where the proteins on or inside the cell are tested for using monoclonal antibodies that are fluourescently labeled. It can be done on bone marrow or blood. Rick Furman, MD Cody wrote: > What kind of test is a flow cytometry?
