Guest guest
Fortunately, CLL can be managed. I was diagnosed in May 2010 with stage IV CLL at age 48. I had an enlarged spleen and experienced problems with my eyes and ears. All of my issues have gone away after 8 chemo treatments and I feel better than I have in years. We will always have the battle but we can live with CLL. I didn't read much about CLL until after my treatments. I'm glad that I did. It kept me focused, hopeful, and in good spirits. I put my faith in my doctor and higher powers. Some of the information out there is scary but we are all different. Stay focused, enjoy your family, and make the best use of your time. Keep informed but don't worry about everything. By the way - I felt good enough to play golf today after a lengthy break and shot 78. I also ran around the park with my 2.5 year old daughter. Not bad for a stage IV diagnosis... Best wishes to you and your family, Tom On Mar 20, 2011, at 6:47 AM, " bregerlaw " wrote: > To all: > > I was diagnosed just last Monday after a white count of > 24,000 appeared on a routine blood test.
