One thing I have been working on for way too long is the Home-Based Support Services " Frequently Asked Questions " document I want to post on our website. Yesterday morning (very early) I sent from ACES$ the section I had written on their services asking for comments and clarifications. I had included a question addressing the idea of applying for the FEIN number before even getting your award letter to speed up the process. asked me NOT to include that suggestion and I quote him below. " Please do NOT encourage people to get EIN¢s on their own. They will not know the correct information to give the IRS to ensure that they are set up properly. The only delay in signing up with us is a 5 to 7 day period to process the paperwork. They can sign up with us the day they receive their award letter. " Ellen, I am wondering if it wouldn't be just a brilliant idea to ask to be one of your " guest speakers " ? Okay, back to work.....
