Does anyone have any info on the AIDS vaccine? I know that since it is

still in its human trial staget aht there must not be that much info but I

just found out that a friend of mine from school is one of the subjects of

this study. I was shocked when I found out and I just wanted to have more

info.

Well, they don't even have a clue what causes aids - even though you are

told it is HIV. HIV may be present in some cases and is not in many others

- it is a passenger virus at best. No one has ever proven that AIDS was

caused by AIDS, they just forget to tell you that or deny it. So how could

they even invent a vaccine..................

A vaccine that actually works (especially against aids) is an oxymoron.

What I am saying is not that I am at all pro-vaccine. I totally agree that there

is no AIDs vaccine that works. If there were though- I think it would be

wonderful. I am on the same page as all of you I believe, however.. I believe in

everything in moderation. I hope that they do someday find a vaccine for AIDS.

True, it may never happen. But I certainly am not going to be praying for their

failure. I just think that is a bit harsh. I am pro breastfeeding, but not to

the point that if there was no breastmilk anywhere that I would condemn a baby

to death over it. I am anti-circ too, but not to the point that I would wish a

boy to a life of painful erections if he had a deformity just because I didn't

think anyone should have one... do you follow my thinking here? I just think

that saying that you hope for the failure is a bit harsh... and I think that

most of us are pro-health here... right?

On the news this morning they said they now have an AIDS vaccine

I saw a Discovery special a couple of years ago, they said that there have been

a few vaccines for AIDS, but whenever they get the vaccine created, the virus

would mutate and it wouldn't work, then they would have to go back to the

drawing board. Hopefully, the same thing is going to happen with this one.
