AML - mouse genes discovered -

MDS / AML is sometimes seen in CLL. It can be associated also

with treatment and stem cell transplants as well, but is rare.

Researchers reporting in the journal 'Nature Genetics' have

found 3 groups of genetic mutations in mice that is linked

to AML.

The most common mutation implicated in the cancer is to the

Npm1 gene.
