Guest guest
Hi, Need some help. My wife is being treated for CLL relapsed 3rd time. Just finished 8 weeks of Arzerra and will start monthly infusions soon. She has BM and CT scans scheduled next week. We know BM will still show significant presence of CLL since % of lymphs high in todays CBC. Thinking ahead , called Ohio State to ask if any openiings in their CAL 101 study. I was told since the trial added amendments 8 & 9 to the protocol that there were no trials phase 1 trials for CLL that were still active. I informed her that gov. clinical trail website still listed Ohio State and others that were still recruiting CLL patients. I was told that website is not updating regularly and only NHL patients were receiving CAL 101 in stuidies. Called Calistoga, but have not received a phone call back. Does anyone know if this info is correct. She has done FCR twice and we were hoping to get a remission with Arzerra and if not, travel to a clinical study with CLL. Registered with for SCT 6 months ago, but so far no 10 point matches found. Thanks, Hal
Guest guest
The CAL-101 plus ofatumumab part of the trial (CAL-101-07 study) should be opening in two months. There will likely be similar trials with PCI-32765 opening in 4-6 months as well. Rick Furman, MD > > Hi, Need some help. My wife is being treated for CLL relapsed 3rd time. Guest guest
This sounds extremely interesting. Will these combo trials be phase II and .. can we get a hint as to which cancer centers may offer them or is that already on the .gov website? Also would love to hear a subjective comparison of PCI-32765 and CAL-101 at this point .. what are the best targets or patient groups for each, knowing it is early days for both biologics. Thanks Lynn >
