Hello Folks - since such a small percentage of you give me

your address (city and zip), I still cannot sort

geographically, and so have to blast to everyone. Sorry.....

Those of you who attended our first session of the New York

Working Group were well impressed. We had a short intro by

Dr. Furman, and then nearly two hours of free flowing, very

informative discussion. So far as I know this loose format

had not been tried before and was well appreciated by

patients and supporters.

We are planning a second such session, with Dr. Mort

. Timing is a little bit of a problem, of course we'd

like to do it before the summer, a little soon. Perhaps

during the summer, everyone can't be on vacation at the same

time, or around Labor Day.

The format would be as I described above, intense and

informative.

We will have the help of the LRF and I have not yet asked

the two volunteers who assisted so ably the last time.

What I need now is a robust response. We cannot do this sort

of thing for 20 people.

Please e-mail me directly so as not to clutter up the group,

indicating your interest in such an event, and perhaps your

time constraints. We'll probably have the session around

lunch time on a Saturday in Manhattan, so that people have a

chance to get there and back.

Good Health,
