Hi all,

that was main source for over 18 months until 2 months ago. The main problem is

they do not use the 3d secure system when using a visa debit or credit card, and

ask for details like your secure password in an unsecure manner, and if used

fraudulently by them or an employee I would not be covered by my bank as I gave

the details in such an unsecure manner, I was silly enough to do so once but not

after that , I had to changed my supplier and am now using erfa from canada.

I'm not sure what you're saying here, Jill. Did they steal from you or are you

just concerned that they might? Have they changed their checkout system or has

it remained the same?

Thanks,

JOT

Hi,

they used to accept my cc and visa debit no problem then I presume it was not

being authorised by the bank when I went to check out the last time as bank must

have an internalised system to see attempted transactions without the 3d secure

system that it did not go through and was referred back to me. The pharmacy then

sent me an e-mail with a rather crude cut and paste effort asking for certain

characters in my password to be inserted into the boxes provided, however as

this was not a proper system recognised by the bank it would not go through,

they then asked me for my whole password and date of birth which I stupidly gave

them, they, then in turn input my date of birth totally wrong, making me

thirteen, and for pities sake, common sense , who the heck gives a cc to a 13

year old...and this time I was not happy that they could have locked my card (

the card in particular was my own visa debit, which had been accepted in every

checkout in the past with this pharmacy . I then ( as was desperate for my meds

) gave the details of husband visa credit card and to which I am the desinated

second card holder, but not the account holder..I went through the exact same

debacle as aforementioned, however neither myself or my husband were willing to

risk our security further or jeopordise my husband's career as a senior banking

solicitor, as I say the whole operation is ( or strikes me ) as being totally

unprofessional and crude, i would think twice before placing an order.I don't

know whether language is a barrier, but still it's not very secure.

I see that on the 1drugstore site the Armour Thyroid generic is listed as

Thiroyd or Thyroid-s.(made by Greater Pharma and Sriprasit Dispensary

respectively) Sheila mentions the Thyroid-s as the one I should be looking at.

Or are these identical items? It is a bit confusing. ...Val

Hi Val,

I too have been using 1 drugstore in Thailand for the past 2 years to buy Thiroyd and various other items - never had a problem. Personally I prefer Thiroyd over Thyroid S because I believe it contains fewer fillers and does not contain lactose, but Thyroid S has a good reputation too. If you want to check out the ingredients, and in particular the fillers, take a look at this site http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/armour-vs-other-brands/

Good luck

Hi Val:

I prefer the Thiroyd from Greater Pharma. I usually go with the *less is more*

groove, and it has less ingredients than the Thyroid-S....it works very well for

me and I treat one of my dogs with it also.

Great product.

It's just personal choice between the two. They are both really wonderful meds.

Cheers,

JOT

It might have been me, I bought Thiroyd from Thailand £75 posted for 1000tabs,

from here:

http://www.aldaracreamonline.co.uk/products/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=\

thiroyd

Thiroyd (Greater Pharma) you can take subling so important if you have

absorption issues, whereas the Thiroyd-S you can't.

Hope that helps.

Sandie.

ONe thing that helps with ordering from overseas is to call your credit card

company and have them authorize an international purchase of up to the amount

you'll be ordering. The first time I ordered from Thailand, I read the

directions about the *Verified by Visa* info and was advised to do that. If it's

a new credit card, sometimes it gets kicked out.

I'm not suggesting I understand all of this, but by having my bank authorize it

ahead of time, I've not had any problems.

I actually did just order some ERFA yesteray from Valuepharm and all went

through easily.....(or so I think :0)

JOT

Angie, this is the page you want there....

http://valuepharmaceuticals.com/Armour-Thyroid.php

ERFA *Thyroid* is the Canadian Brand which is shown by the cute little red leaf

next to the amount.....that's how you know it's the correct one.

Thank you all again. I have ordered Thiroyd (Greater Pharma) from 1drug.com as

they sell smaller quantities for trying out, seem reasonably priced and appear

to be in Canada. I'm glad that some of you have tried Thiroyd and approve. I

agree that less is probably better as far as fillers are concerned.....Val
