Guest guest
Hi folks, I seemed to have be doing okay for quite a while, until recently- and wondering if anybody can shed any light as to the reasons that I may be feeling so dog tired ( I think that is the correct phrase, sorry got brain fog) Possible reasons I may be not feeling right: 1)I ran out of t3 a couple of weeks ago (order took ages to arrive)I now have supplies, after running out I started back onto x2 25 mcg and x1 25 mcg lunchtime. Maybe I should have incresed this gradually. 2) I lost one stone plus on Rosemary Conley before Xmas, did not manage to stick to it; but went back onto diet of 1200 kcals per day for four days recently to get back on track (I realise this may have slowed my metabolism) 3) Over the same period I was reducing my HC by 5 mcg per week - got down to 5 mcg daily. The problem is I have been feeling sooo tired, I thought it was the lack of t3; but now not so sure. I have also been feeling like I have a gritty right eye (like I have something stuck in it; but do not) Plus right side muscular pain, lack of confidence, difficutly coping at work and feeling on occasions very cold, feeling like a fog is hanging over me and feet feeling puffy and funny (in the past I have always associated any feet symptoms with adrenal fatigue) I have increased the HC (generic) and am now on 40 mcg - I increased back up to 20 mcg was on that dose for a week, or so then took an extra 20 mcg stress dose as really really struggling on the way to work the other day. Now taking 20 mcg am with breakfast and 20 mcg with lunch. I find this illness/treatment very difficult to explain to my manager as I do not trust her and am self medicating- I do not want all of this to interfere with any future job applications - this causes me some stress. I am also on x2 Nutri Thyroid am with breakfast and x2 with lunch. Any help, ideas would be most appreciated. I am going to try and book an appointment with Dr P, when he is next in the area. Aplogies if this is slighty garbled.. Love Ali xxx
