Guest guest
Stacey, I would keep splitting your dose twice daily because T3 has such a short half life and you start to feel the effect of it leaving your body after about 6 to 9 hours. This way, it keeps you up and running throughout the day, without that late afternoon 'slump'. Oh, I do love to hear stories like this. Luv - Sheila Hi all, I have now got up to 25mcgs a day and I have noticed that it makes a huge difference - and I am sleeping better than I remember. I did start off taking 12.5 and then added another 12.5 about 1 ish but now I just take a whole tablet in the morning and my Levo which I have now reduced to 25 from the 75 and I feel fine. My temps are up from mostly below 36c and I have been feeling the cold less. I feel more clear in my head and like something has shifted somewhere - like a blockage. Yes, I still have to pace myself and I do feel tired some days usually by 5ish, but it is still early days. I feel like a fog has lifted and - I know this sounds weird - but I actually feel more patient and getting peed off at something does not last. I even feel more talkative with my partner rather than being quite and because I have felt like poo just shut myself off. I am planning to come off the T4 completely and just stick with T3, I will add another 12.5 to my 25 next week and see how I go. Jusr thought people would like to know especially if they are thinking about T3. I have also already added to the Register of COunterexamples. Guest guest
Hi , yes I remember it well. that feeling, of the brain fog lifting. not taking T3 but did quite well on levo and then Armour, and now on thyroid-S, which has all the hormones you need. upwards and onwards. good luck on getting back to normal, what ever that is (grin).
