Well done Kathleen - I am really pleased that it went so well

and hope you feel even better tomorrow. Just take it easy and give yourself a

bit of TLC.

HI ALL

Have just returned home from having my procedure done, and was treated well.

The specialist had a chat and he must be good at doing hysteroscopies, as I was

not in the pain like I was when the same procedure was done in my local

hospital, which in turn caused the breakdown of my marriage.

I do not know how yet, but those painful shoulders have got better and the hips

are a lot better, only a slight pain left in the arthritic hip. My neck and

back are also a lot better.

The anaethetist joked with me, at the same time as he was having difficulties

locating a good vein.

My BP was up when I got there, but considering that I had just got there it is

no surprise, but there was concern after the op, and had to give me Amlodipine

to bring it down. They wil be in touch with my GP concerning my BP, and may

have to investigate the reason for melaena, and calcium problem, and of course

the problem with thyroxine, but I am mobile and hope it lasts.

I could lay on my right should for the first time in months.

HI SHEILA

I was sick last night, but it could be due to the abilty to lay on my right

side, as tis has caused me to be sick in the past, so I started off with the

Lansoprazole this morning, and the instructions on when to take these which is

half to one hour before food, but when I was prescribe Omprazole which made me

feel unwell, all it states is to take one a day for tummy pains.

I do not think taking Amlodipine each day is going to help my BP, as it will

cause it to drop too low, and I only had one tablet given to me in the hospital.

What effect does T3 have on ones BP?

There are heart conditions in the family, but I do not know if they are related

to Thyroid problems. The calcium problem may well have something to do with the

heart as well.
