Guest guest
Hi folks, just a quick question. I'm thinking of doing a salivary adrenal test with Genova. But if I do one, if the results are abnormal, can I buy and self-medicate the necessary medications to treat myself as my GP is useless. Thanks very much for all your continuing help. Guest guest
Hi - once you get your results back, put them on this forum, together with the reference range and we should be able to help in their interpretation. If it shows your adrenals are suffering, then you will probably need to start taking some form of adrenal supplements. We usually recommend Nutri Adrenal Extra. Many folk do well on these, though some people have such low adrenal reserve they need a short course of hydrocortisone. In our FILES section (accessible from the Home Page of this forum's web site), scroll down to the FOLDER 'Discounts on Tests and Supplements' and click on the document 'Nutri Ltd.' and you can get 33% discount as a TPA member.
