Guest guest
I've had both dizzyness and labyrinthitis bouts which were horrific. Many years ago I was given a script for it and never took the meds because the side effects of the drugs were *dizzyness.* This sounds about right for Big Pharma :0) First thing I would recommend is to take unrefined/unprocessed salt a couple times a day in a glass of water. 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon twice a day. Second, if you have a severe attack of Labyrinthitis and cannot walk, you need 5mgs of Valium. This will get you upright immediately. It's not a cure but it gets you up and normal again. Third, Tinnitis is *lack of Magnesium* and I suggest 400mgs a day. There is no real cure for Meniere's but they will give you exercises to do which won't work. Try them anyway, but shaking the little bones and rocks around in your head doesn't really do too much to help. Salt and magnesium did the trick for me. Been dizzy-free for over 8 years. Many of the ailments we have today are due to poor nutrients in our food, due to depleted nutrients in our soil. We have the toxic halides sticking and blocking our receptors so many things don't absorb. Just another problem. Suzy just wrote a fabulous reference for symptoms and cures of what our bodies need and which supplements will give us relief. If you spend money on one book a year, spend it on this one. It's terrific and a world of great information....:0) Highly recommended. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Drug-Muggers-Suzy-Cohen/dp/1605294160 Cheers, JOT > I've posted this for information and also to see what other people's experiences are. > > MJN >

Guest guest
Hello MJN Yes, there is a connection between the diagnosis you have been given and those suffering the symptoms of hypothyroidism. Look in the List of Symptoms and Signs in our web site www.tpa-uk.org.uk under 'Hypothyroidism' and you will see the connection there. Luv - Sheila I have just been given a diagnosis of possible Meniere's Disease after recurring dizziness, nausea and tinnitus episodes. I've looked through past postings here and it seems that I'm not the only one with both hypothyroidism and this condition. I've also read that there may be links between the two conditions. I had previously been told (in December 2010) I had labyrinthitis and prescribed Prochlorperazine, I have now been prescribed Betahistine Dihydrochloride. I have had dizzy spells prior to December but never had a diagnosis. I've posted this for information and also to see what other people's experiences are.
