Guest guest
This is 's protocol...or most of it. These supplements will help. He wrote the book *Adrenal Fatigue* which many people feel helps. I followed his protocol and I healed, so I recommend this protocol. http://hbmag.com/supplements-to-fight-adrenal-fatigue/ The other most important thing you can do for adrenal fatigue is to take 1/4 teaspoon to 1/2 teaspoon of unrefined/unprocessed gray sea salt (or pink himalayan rock salt), several times throughout the day. The adrenals need salt. If you're in the UK a supplement called NAX will help (ask sheila) or you can use Isocort to help support the adrenals. Guest guest
Hi , go to our FILES section (accessible from the Home Page of this forum web site thyroid treatment). On the page that opens, scroll to the FOLDER 'Adrenals' and open the document entitled 'Adrenal Questionnaire' and answer all the questions there to see how you score. Also, click on 'Home Testing' and check out your reaction. You should be able to get an idea of how bad your adrenals are. If you need to boost them, click on the FILE 'Discounts on Tests and Supplements' and open the document entitled Nutri Ltd. and you can get 33% discount on all the supplements there. You need to buy Nutri Adrenal Extra. Order by telephone and quote the TPA Reference Number and they will arrive the next day. You start by taking one tablet with breakfast for 7 to 10 days. Add another tablet with your lunch (do not take any tablets after 1.00p.m. or you might be kept awake at night). After another 10 days, if need be, you can add another tablet with breakfast. If you feel your adrenals are being boosted and your symptoms are less, there is no need to keep increasing, but if you are still 'not quite there' - you can keep increasing the tablets up to 6 daily. However, if, after 6 tablets you still feel bad, this may be an indication you need a short course of hydrocortisone. Good luck, and let us know how you score on the questionnaire. You might ask your GP to check your levels of ferritin, vitamin B12, vitamin D3, magnesium, folate, copper and zinc because if any of these are low in the reference range, your thyroid hormone will not be properly utilised in the cells. When you get these results, post them on the forum together with the reference range and we will help with any interpretation of them. Luv - Sheila I most likley have mild to medium adrenal fatigue. Are there are suggestions for adrenal support that would be ok to start without getting all the testing, etc done? Thank you in advance. Guest guest
You can get Nutri-Meds Whole Desiccated Glandular Concentrate - Adrenal straight from their site in the US. I would be happy to message you off board with the link. With shipping it came out to be under 25 dollars for me. It comes within two days of ordering. Where are you in the US? I am outside of DC. The way I started was to take 1/4 of the pill for 6 weeks and see where I stood. I then increased by another 1/4 tab for six weeks and by the next increase, I realized it was a bit too much and my adrenals are happy at half a tab. They are easy to divide and you get 100 tablets and they are 80mg tabs. The way they are processed none of the hormone is eliminated due to heat processing. http://www.nutri-meds.com/Whole_Adrenal_Glandular_p/nm-g-wa.htm Hope that helps. Last ferritin test I had was good, 81 (70-150). LH*
Guest guest
I scored 1.42 on the index (33 total questions answered with a grand score of 47). So as I guessed, I'm in the mild range. I'm just looking for something like a multi-vitamin, but for adrenals. Or am I interpreting adrenal support incorrectly? Thank you in advance.LH*

Guest guest
, how are your basal temperatures in the morning? Are you at or over 97.6? Have you had any blood labs done like Vitmin B-12? I find that many people feel much better once they start supplementing with vitamin B-12. B-12 helps greatly with general stress. Yes, Isocort would be a good equivalent to Nax. I tried to order Nax once, but at the time they were out of it. I like to use different products to see how they work, but I didn't get the chance to try it. http://www.pureprescriptions.com/products/product_view.asp?ProductsID=618 & Produc\ tsCategoryID=151 & gclid=COuTtsiPi6cCFSdtgwodqA4Cfg You should be able to look at the ingredients, etc. here. > > I'm in the US, what is the equivalent to NAX? > > Is that ISOCORT? > > What is the recommended dosage for mild adrenal stress? Guest guest
Go to our FILES section, accessible from the Home Page of this forum web site http://health.grouops./group/thyroid treatment and on the page that opens, click on the FOLDER 'Discounts on tests and supplements'. Then on that list, click on 'Nutri Ltd' and order 120 tablets of Nutri Adrenal Extra. Follow the instructions and quote the TPA reference No. and phone with your order. He will send them out immediately. You need to follow the instructions in order to claim 33% discount for being a member of TPA. You start by taking one tablet with breakfast and stay on that for 7 to 10 days. Add another tablet with your lunch and stay on that for another 7 to 10 days. If you still feel you need more, add another tablet with breakfast and see how you feel. You can take up to 6 NAE daily, but if you still are not quite getting there, you may need a course of Isocort or hydrocortisone itself. Guest guest
Hi Jitter, My basal temps are low. They were fluxuating daily, from 96.8 to 97.3. Now are steady at about 97.3 (for the last 3 days) I am already taking a Bcomplex daily, thanks. LH*
Guest guest
Hi , you'll feel better with adrenal support. Whatever you choose to buy will help those temps raise a bit. Your temps should come up to 98.6 or somewhere in that vicinity, by mid afternoon. Are you having any trouble sleeping? The adrenals naturally repair themselves from 11 PM to 1 AM so it helps to be in bed and ready to sleep by 10 PM..... Cheers, JOT > My basal temps are low.
