It took some time but the excellent results I have achieved on Armour thyroid

have left my endo with no real choice but to support my use of Armour - now TSH

0.8, free T3 5.9, free T4 11.5)! He also sent a copy of an abstract that was

published following a presentation he ws involved with at the British Endocrine

Society in 2008. He stated that 'although there are no randomised placebo

controlled trials to confirm the benefit of natural thyroid over synthetic T4

and/or T3, there are anecdotal reports that some patients feel significantly

better' and that he believes that this applies to me! Why do they make us work

so hard for this? I have had 17 years of synthetic treatment, and have felt

pretty lousy for the last couple of years. Now on 2½ grains (+ a lot of adrenal

support) and feeling really good. Keep at it everyone!!

Any chance you could send us the copy of the abstract you

mention please Alison? This is great news. Is the endocrinologist one from my

'good' doctors list? If not, will you write to me privately at sheila@... and send me his name and

hospital address he works from please?

Luv - Sheila
