HI SHEILA

I could not take vitamin D3 which is possibly due to the fact that it is not

truly of vegetarian origin, and actually comes from sheep, but I do take 1000iu

of vitamin D2 which is completley vegan and vegetarian. They do say that D2 can

be more likely to become toxic though than D3, but in turn surely this also

depends on how well ones liver and kidneys are functioning, as to how much one

should take, as not everyone is the same.

They say that people with dark skin have less vitamin D in them as their skin

blocks the suns rays, but originally people with dark skin were designed to cope

with hot sun in their country of origin, so moving into a country like UK which

is not known for hot climate so they would get less vitamin D into their bodies,

or in any other area with less sun.

I could not cope with living in a very hot country.
