Guest guest
Tell us what area you live in Peary. Somebody near to you might already know of somebody around there who is good but not forwarded to me their name and address. If any of you out there does have a doctor who treats using either synthetic or natural T3 containing products, please write to me privately with their name and address. If anybody also knows of a doctor who will treat low adrenal reserve, let me know of them too. Luv - Sheila Hi all, I would really appreciate it if any members could contact me privately regarding good doctor recommendations.I am prepared to travel anywhere in the UK. I must stress though that they need to be in the private sector and NOT require a referral. I am no further forward in my quest to find a 'good' doctor and I have one last chance to get it right. There is no more money in the pot and I am so scared of making the wrong choice.I already have details of various private doctors who have an interest in thyroid but I cannot choose which one would be best! If anyone can help me decide I would be most grateful. Peary
Guest guest
Hi Sheila and All, I stay just outside Edinburgh so I know I will have to travel south to consult a private doc. I have had a couple of replies mentioning Dr P who I have already seen and I am unable to get a referral from my GP to see Dr S. I am after a Private Endo or GP(or anybody medically trained that knows what they are doing LOL!)who can prescribe and offer additional tests like B12 ,25-hydroxy-vitamin D,DHEAs etc..Also,they must not require a referral letter becuse I would not be able to provide it. I have had no blood tests for over 2 years so would like to know whats going on and if anything has improved. My thoughts are also turning to trying purified thyroxine alongside T3 as a trial. The reformulated Naturethroid does not agree with me. So if anyone has any ideas on who would be the best choice excluding those already mentioned that would be great. Please PM me though! Peary >> Tell us what area you live in Peary. Guest guest
Hello Peary, Sorry to hear you're not doing well, and sorry I can't be of help but it sounds as if we're in pretty much the same position. I need to find a Dr and this will have to be my last attempt at finding one as I haven't got much money left and I'm also scared of making an appointment with the wrong one. So if you do find one that can help you please could you contact me privately? Thanks and I hope you'll be feeling better soon.
