Guest guest
I noticed someone enquired about this stuff - I have loved it for about a year now - and all I can see on the container is " 80 minerals and trace elements " and also no additives. Guest guest
HI JENNY I have just ordered some Himalayan Salt, But I have not beeen having ordinary salt, as it causes fluid retention which in turn raises ones BP. I have also been said to pass out SODIUM and have been given Sodium and Potassium to correct my electrolytes. I have also recently been said to be dehydrated and also given a bag of saline. Like you I am not going to go mad with salt, but will also keep an eye on my BP. Himalayan salt has not had all the other ingrediants removed like table salt, so this is why I am giving it a go, but in turn if I am passing out sodium to have salt would make me pass out even more which would surely lower ones BP, hence dehydration, so will have to watch that too. I think a lot depends on how ones kidneys handle salt. I am also trying to find out just what all the ingrediants are in himalayan salt. Kathleen > > I was taking the himalyian salt and 'loving it' - then for the first time ever my BP started to go up. My net research suggested that BP could go up initially with HS but then come back down again. All the alternative health providers said that. However, medical sources said - Salt is salt and too much can raise BP and keep it there. F >
