Guest guest
, If you're on meds, then really you should be aiming to get your free t4 and corresponding t3 into the top end of the range.... so ideally you'd want to see the t4 over 18... As the antibodies are raised, you now have grounds for a confirmed diagnosis of hashimotos and free prescriptions.... . > So what should I be aiming for.... > Still don't feel as good as I had hoped...but this is a start... > > Cheers > >

I am on 3gr Armour ..upping it a bit to 3 1/2gr this week because I am still not feeling well a lot of the time (feeling better but still not good if that makes sense). On the morning of this test I was on 2 1/2gr and I did not take any until after the blood draw. Doctor was a bit uneasy at the TSH being so low but was happy to let me carry on because the other numbers were ok. > As the antibodies are raised, you now have grounds for a confirmed diagnosis of hashimotos and free prescriptions.... Was getting free prescriptions anyway based on "regular" Hypothyroid...:-)...Thanks
