Hi angela, I've always bought my Serenity from the Guernsey address. There was a problem a while ago when the US manufacturer changed the recipe and claimed ownership of the patent, so there may be two recipes still around. I've had no problems with the Serenity from Guernsey supplier, but didn't like the US one- nasty sticky yellowish stuff, not the light white cream I'm used to. I'll try to find the long letters both suppliers sent me if you want me to. > thyroid treatment > From: doc.cowley@...> Date: Wed, 23 Feb 2011 12:46:18 +0000> Subject: New Serenity cream> > I started Serenity cream last spring with a pot from the Guernsey supplier. It was white with a yellowy flower on it. It worked wonders and as soon as I started to run low I bought another pot. This was white with a yellowy flower with an orangey centre and did not work at all well. Obviously I saw posts here regarding the authenticity of the creams, the chinese ingredients etc, so I ordered a blue tube of Serenity from www.progesterone.org.uk which I used for the last month. My period it late (it was dead on time with other creams) and my PMT symptoms are as bad as ever. Has anyone had any positive results with recently bought cream please?> Thanks> > > > > ------------------------------------> > TPA is not medically qualified. No need to find letters thanks but a quick question. My first pot from

Guernsey with the yellow flower was a thickish white cream, whereas the second

with yellow flower and orange centre was a little watery by comparison. The good

one you are using, what colour is the flower and is it thick or thin please?

Thanks

Hi ,

If you go to the files section you will find recent info regarding Serenity

cream.

The USA Health-Science is the manufacturer and Gurnsey was only a distributor -

and it may be that they are still a distributor but getting their ingredients

from China and still using the Health-Science pot logo.

I used to get my cream from Gurnsey until I found out the real story about the

problems with the manufacturing rights. The Serenity from Gurnsey I found to be

gritty. If any Serenity cream feels as though it has fine pieces of gritty

stuff in it - do not use it.

I have had no problem with buying from the USA. If you go to the files you will

find a phone number - 020 7096 3939 - this will put you through to the USA

Health-Science manufacturer - and get the facts straight from the 'horses mouth'

so to speak.

Hi,

Why don't you experiment with dose sizes. I take 1/8 tsp twice a day.

From what I have researched it seems you can't overdose. If you use

too much - like half a tub full - it would make you feel a bit sleepy.

Have you been tested for low progesterone with Genova?

From my point of view, serenity was a wonderful find because I

had oestrogen dominance - even after the menopause.

I used to get Serenity from Guernsey and although it didn't do anything for my

hot flushes, it did improve my sleep. However, recently the cream and the pots

were different and it didn't seem to work any more. I have bought some of the

other, rival Serenity and am giving it a try. Please keep me posted about how

you get on.
