Guest guest
It is always recommended that you take the same 'brand' of levothyroxine all the time and never mingle one brand with another, even though they tell you that all levothyroxine is bio identical. You should ask your GP to write the brand of levothyroxine on the prescription that suits you best, and the pharmacist must source that particular brand for you. If the GP doesn't do this, the pharmacist will give you whatever brand of levothyroxine they are carrying at that particular time. Luv - Sheila The pharmacist has given me 50mcg of Levo & 25mcg of Eltroxin as he obviously didn't have 25 in Levo. Is there a difference or is it the same under a different name? ,_._,___
Guest guest
Thanks Sheila - I thought I was feeling more bloated since I started the extra 25 mcg but that could be all in my head :-) Will maybe split the dose & take the 25mcg before going to bed.
