Anyone in UK received hydrocortisone recently?

I ordered some, and it was supposedly shipped on 10th March, but no sign of it

yet.

This continuously waiting for meds makes me really nervous, I am going to build

up a six month in hand supply, but that takes a lot of money.

I have a few weeks hc left, but probably not enough to do a re-order from

elsewhere and wait another 6 weeks.

Firstly, has anyone received HC QUICKLY from anywhere (regardless of cost)

secondly, how do you cope with this continual ordering of meds? how much do you

keep in reserve, how do you keep managing to afford to buy them

Hi Al, I ordered HC from Value Pharmeceuticals (sp) and

it arrived in about a week. I think because, I didn't order over £18 worth.

Usually it gets held in customs if you order over £18!

I agree it's a pain getting meds from abroad, but what can you do!

Thanks for that tip! I ordered the smallest quantity they sell, but it was $28 -

over £18! plus delivery. Fingers crossed this will arrive quickly. 100 tablets

is only 2 weeks worth for me, though, as I take 35mg a day at the moment!!!

Hi,

I get my HC from Value Pharmaceuticals. They told me that they put $30 on the

packet however much one orders.

If you buy one pot of HC it will be $30 on the packet - so I buy three pots for

me and two for my O/H - and they still put $30 on the packet.

Unfortunately when the pound/dollar exchange rate is not good then it goes over

the £18 and duty is required.

It is mainly luck of the draw as to whether the parcel is spotted.

shipped on the 10th march, when I emailed them last week which was 3 weeks late

by then they said all the orders which were shipped on that date were held up in

customs, it'a right pain in ... if only GP's were more helpful, and more

knowledgeable so we could get them on prescription instead of all trouble.

mine were also shipped on 10th march, so are probably all sat together in a

customs warehouse somewhere I hope they let them out eventually!!!

Good news!

Judging by the card that landed through my door this morning while I was out,

the HC has arrived!!!!

That took exactly 4 weeks!!
