RE: Doctors who Cna help...???

Hi , finding doctors in the UK who are specialist in ME

and Thyroid issues is no easy task. I will send you my list of recommended

doctors (by members) who will prescribe either synthetic T3 or natural thyroid

extract, so these doctors obviously know a little more than the majority of

practitioners. Half are NHS the rest are private. You will probably need to

travel to the one of your choice, but your health must come first at all times.

Have you considered a consultation with Dr Peatfield, one of our

medical advisers - he is brilliant with thyroid and adrenals and has made

hundreds of NHS failures well again.

Watch out for the list - it's winging its way over to you.

Thanks for the welcome to this forum Im new here so here

goes...........Ive had ME for 13 years with graves disease diagnosed

also. I am now looking into finding specialist doctor in ME and Thyroid

issues... am only well enough now to take it onboard.. Sick literally of being

told Im fine and my bloods are fine when I still have symptoms. The Irish ME

association brought a Dr Honeyman to a meeting and introduced me to the

concept of Metabolic Health and I started to investigate my Thyroid and

adrenals she was trained by a Dr Lowe.. They are both in the states and

both do phone Consults and long distance investigations.. Also found a Dr

Holtarf who has a seemingly thorough approach and trained CFS centre staff

again in USA. At this stage Im prepared to travel but I wonder if there

are any good Doctors int the UK or Europe since I left who are succcessful or

has anyone heard of or been treated by any o f the Doctors I have listed

here..
