Guest guest
Amen to that. May no one on this list feel offended or feel its an inappropiate message as we must all pray for our troops as we are all involved when times have changed. Just continue to hit the delete button when something like this happens and do change the subject to our never-ending challenges that we must deal with daily, its always an open-door list so that we could learn and lend an ear. May all humans come together for peace. I also wanted to share my feelings about what I see on the news on the people who are protesting around the world. I will respect their feelings, but not when they stir up violence. In a way this does affect our kids as this is their future and we can not change how it is being handle, only the lord understand these actions. I know when a war is going on many of our social service funds are cut back. We must all be strong together as we have our own battle to deal with, with our kids. Many good physicians, friends, family who I know have been sent out to war. This list has helped me in many ways and when I have emotional feelings and when something like this occurs it affects a domino affect that I could release my thoughts and then I could move on. I do apologize to anyone if I shared my opinion in regards to this. Many hugs to all, lets continue to be supportive friends, we need each other as many ignore us and look at us like our kids are from another planet and when we speak to many in regards to our kids we are all foreign. Irma,14,DS/ASD P.S. We must respect and admire a younger generation who is showing her support as many other younger adults do not care a hoot about what is going on. Likewise on your opinion, too. Guest guest
Yes. It's obvious that SEIU is mirroring our very own mailing we sent last week. However, the signatures are scanned and I bet from their are the original signatures from the authorization cards. Don't be mistaken. It is from SEIU, paid with SEIU dollars and collated by SEIU organizers. Does anyone recognize any of the signatures? I'm curious if they are family providers? Of course, I fully support, without reservation, anyone's right to vote for SEIU. However, if that vote is uninformed, coerced or cast because of fraud - then I take exception. We have heard stories here on IPADD and stories today at the DuPage Work group meeting about union organizers coming to our doors and telling us they can get more funding, medical insurance, and other benefits. These promises are illegal and untrue. Pam Letter Did anyone else get a letter in the mail with several signatures of PSW's asking you to support the union SEIU? It came from a PO Box in Chicago. Guest guest
Yes, Shirley, I got that letter also. They certainly have the right to their opinion. I suspect that SEIU sent this out for them...just a hunch. Ellen Ellen Garber Bronfeld egskb@... Guest guest
I agree. There were not that many signatures so that is a good thing. I wonder if all those people know their signatures were being sent out. Guest guest
Good question, Shirley. A couple of names look vaguely familiar, but I don't think I know anyone on the list of signatures. Ellen Ellen Garber Bronfeld egskb@... Guest guest
The funny thing about the letter is that nobody left their name to call if you wanted to talk to anyone or if you had questions. Guest guest
Hello again I just wanted to say that I did run my letter through Sheila who suggested that it was posted to the forum. I hope we may be sorting this out. Cheers Audrey
