Guest guest
Hi , I haven't mentioned my anaemia before but you could well be right. I have been anaemic for many years and now doctors say its okish when its always around about 9 or 10. However immediately after I did my first post I went off to the docs and apart from a full thyroid blood test (they never believe a private one) I asked for my iron, folate and B12 to be tested. I was put on B12 years ago (a 3 monthly injection) till some bright spark stopped it because she said my B12 was fine. It didn't occur to her that it was OK because of the injections. Yesterday I was seen by a young doctor who was doing a 6 month stint at my surgery. When I mentioned rT3 he didn't know what I meant. He quickly looked it up and said, "Yes I see" and promptly put it on my blood test form. He also said he thought the situation would improve for hypothyroidism and started to google to see if he could find a good endocrinologist for me. I will see him again when I have my tests done. I will probably become his stalker when he leaves. boo hoo! I will look into having my estrogen and progesterone checked. Thanks again . Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for the info. How embarrassing, I had completely forgotten part of that post. I hope that by sorting out my medication I might get my brain back.....or not.... :-( Regards Wyn
