Guest guest
Hi Lynne - have you been tested to see whether you have antibodies to your thyroid. This is called Hashimoto's disease and is a CAUSE of hypothyroidism, though treatment is the same as any other cause. The antibodies could be attacking your thyroid gland tissue cause problems and/or causing a goitre making it difficult to swallow. Remember that goitre's can grow inside, so do not always show on the outside. Also, you could have other conditions associated with hypothyroidism such as low adrenal reserve, systemic candidiasis, mercury poisoning caused through amalgam fillings, low levels of ferritin, vitamin B12, vitamin D3, magnesium, folate, copper and zinc which would need to be treated before thyroid hormone can get into the cells - and this can cause you to pick up more infections until they are treated. Check out the attached document. Luv - Sheila Every time I do something that exerts me a little these days (even though I pace myself) I am fine at the time but within around two days I have a throat infection or some kind of unpleasant virus. I find it hard to swallow - it feels like my throat is closed off about half way down..it is quite distressing..this is what physical exertion seems to do to me..?? Could the two things be related? I am even wondering if this is anything to do with my thyroid - can you get your thyroid scanned to see what is actually happening in your throat or could it perhaps be a delayed reaction to physical exertion? .._,___ 1 of 1 File(s) Why thyroid hormone stops working (2).doc
Guest guest
Hi Lynne: I had this swallowing problem when I was on too much ERFA, being over-dosed for a bit...I believe it was because too much ERFA was taxing my adrenals causing fatigue and malfunction. Once I brought the ERFA down and starting treating the adrenals, things went back to normal. Just a thought..... Cheers, JOT
Guest guest
Hi Sheila I do have Hashimoto's disease and I did a Vega machine test and this said candida - but when I found out that everyone who had been to him was diagnosed with candida I was a bit sceptical about whether it was just a moneymaking venture for him rather than reality... Is the most efficient approach to solving this getting the tests I can from the doctor, the others from the lab you use then a visit to Dr. Peatfield? After a week of this throat problem it is even worse this morning so My body is obviously struggling to deal with it.
