Hello.I have Hashimotos but am not one of the unfortunates who has been really

bad. After a couple of years on 25mcg thyroxine I gradually increased to 100mcg

thyroxine last summer prescribed by my GP.That relieved me of a lot of symptoms

for a month or two then I started to slip back and the fact that my daughter was

also showing symptoms of hypothyroidism got us researching on the internet. We

went to see Dr. Peatfield for my daughter and he suggested I did the same

adrenal regime as her as he thought I had adrenal stress too.(I have not done a

saliva test). So I have been on Nax, I have just upped to 5 a day, Nutri Thyroid

2 or 3 a day plus all the other vits and supplements iron magnesium etc. etc.

etc, the lot. The only thing I don't take is liquorice. Instead of thyroxine I

have started NDT 10 days after I stated the NAX and am up to 2.5 grains of NDT a

day. My problem is that before starting this regime my blood pressure went up

when I stood up and my temps summed during the day and then compared with

several days did not differ a lot. My waking temp. is slightly higher too than

it used to be. But, now here is the problem. Now my blood pressure goes down

about 10 to 15 when I stand up and there is a lot of difference between each

days temps averaged. Hope you get what I mean. I also have a sneaky feeling that

I have come to a bit of a standstill where general overall well being is

concerned. Do you think my adrenals can't take the NDT yet and they are getting

more stressed? What do you suggest I do?

Many thanks for any suggestions..
