Guest guest
Hmm - I thought I had responded to this message. Not sure what you mean about wanting to know how to add your results to files or attachments. Usually, we expect members to post their results direct in a message, as you have done here. You can send your results as an attachment but mainly it would only be seen by those receiving Individual Emails, so best just to type them out as you have done, and then all can see them. These adrenal results show you are stressed but that your cortisol level is not low. When you start your Nutri Adrenal Extra, you stop your thyroid hormone replacement (if you are taking any). Start with taking one tablet with breakfast. On the 8th day, add back your thyroid hormone replacement and increase your dose of NAE by taking another tablet with your lunch (don't take any after 1.00p.m. otherwise, this might stop you from sleeping). In another 10 days to 2 weeks, if necessary, add another tablet with your breakfast and continue increasing in this way until you start to feel better. You can take up to 6 tablets daily, but if you don't feel better at that dose, you need something stronger, such as Isocort or even Hydrocortisone - but Dr P will guide you here. You need to start taking 4/5000mgs vitamin C daily together with Siberian Ginseng and Selenium 200mcgs daily (again with food). If you want to know more about the thyroid adrenal connection, go to our Home Page, click on FILES and on the list there, open the ADRENALS folder and read all you can there. Don't worry about uploading details of tests to our Files section. Luv - Sheila Hi all Gently bumping this as I am desperate for some advice before I start the NAX in a couple of days. I am adding my results here as no one has got back about how to add to files or attachments. sample 1 17.8 (12 - 22) sample 2 9.3 (5.0 - 9.0) sample 3 6.6 (3.0 - 7.0) sample 4 4.1 (1.0 - 3.0) DHEA sample 1 am 0.84 (0.20 -0.70) sample 2 pm 0.75 DHEA Cortisol ratio 2.10 (0.6 - 3.0) > > Hi > > I have saw Dr P on Saturday and he has said that I have weak T4 to T3 conversion and T3 receptor uptake has run down. He has prescribed NAX and NTand has has told me to stop taking levothyroxine for 10 days and to start NAX on day seven. Also to supplement with vit C and CQ10. > > I also have the result from my saliva test, will try to scan to the files, it shows my cortisol and DHEA high at some point in the day. I did them on a day when I was feeling to ill to do anything so there was very little external stress. Does this mean that it is not my adrenals and that I don't need the NAX. Have searched the forum but can't find any posts about both being high. > > I am on day three without thyroxine and still feel really grotty, I am shaky and jump and shiver when anyone comes near me, and of course I am exhausted. > > I can't see anyway to attach my scans so help with that would be good. > > Thanks in advance for any help or advice. > > Maire >
