Guest guest
For all those members in the Bristol area who are wondering about the next meeting of the Bristol Support Group, Miriam has written to say that Delyth (Bristol organiser) has been poorly for some weeks, so she has volunteered to organise the next get-together, and maybe by the time you all meet up,. Delyth will be well enough to come along and join up. Miriam has suggested Tuesday 15th February, 11 am at the Westbury Park Tavern (formerly Cock o' The North Pub), Henleaze, Bristol, BS9 4HP. It is opposite Waitrose and the Orpheus Cinema.http://www.britishpubguide.com/cgi-bin/pub.cgi?results:Bristol:253The reason for Miriam's suggestion is that it is quiet enough for talking, has comfortable seats, hot and cold drinks, and a car park.If you would like to attend this meeting, please contact miriam_hinch@... to let her know whether you can make it or not. If there are particular reasons, like "I can't do mornings", Miriam will pass them on to Delyth for her future reference. For members living elsewhere, please contact the organisers in the list below if you would like more information about their next Meeting. Place Name Email Bristol: Delyth p0shb1nt@... Guest guest
Hi This is such a shame but I do understand. However, I admit to never having received an email from you or anything else telling me that you wished to be removed. Must still be floating around in the ether ( I have deleted your name from the list. If we have any members throughout the UK or Northern Ireland who would like to start a local thyroid support group in your area, please do let me know and I will let our other members know. Meanwhile to all our support group leaders, do remember to advertise your group meeting dates and venues well, and you should be able to put a free notice in your local paper - stick notices up in the library, doctors surgeries, slimming clubs, hospital waiting rooms etc. I have attached a notice you could print off - you would just need to fill in the blanks with the town, and your email and telephone number first. You should also use our Logo on any notices which I have attached. Luv - Sheila Hello Sheila Can you please delete me from this list.
