Guest guest
Dr P might have mentioned that Dr S doesn't treat adrenals, but not that he doesn't prescribe T3, because it is well known that he uses synthetic T3 and T4 plus natural thyroid extract. Sheila Hi bunny, I would just like to point out that I have T3 prescribed by Dr. S. > > I know what you mean Josie and have similar freaking out sessions myself ; ) > > I think it depends on your particular thyroid problem - Dr P told me that Dr S would not have given me T3 which is what I actually needed, as well as adrenal support which he also apparently doesn't treat - so if you needed those Dr P would be your man. > > > > ___
Guest guest
If Dr S didn't prescribe T3 or thyroid extract, he would not be on my list of doctors Bunny. Dr S happened to telephone me last night about the programme yesterday on Radio 4 about the GMC. I took the opportunity of clarifying with him whether he does prescribe T3 and he said " Sheila, you know I prescribe T3 " . I understand other doctors have refused to give you T3 also. The Why you have been denied T3 by some doctors is something that should be discussed between the doctors and yourself. Even if Dr S had prescribed you T3, the cost of filling the private prescription would have cost you a lot more than buying it yourself and TPA provides a list of reputable suppliers where it can be bought reasonably cheaply and without the need for a prescription. I hope you are now feeling much better on T3 than you were before. Sheila Sorry but not only did Dr P say it but Dr S himself would not give me T3 which is the reason I am actually now seeing Dr P in the first place. ___
