Guest guest
Hi Han When I was taking Nutri Adrenal Extra I used to take it at the same time as my natural desiccated thyroid extract and never had any problems. I think it really depends on how much calcium you are taking though. I can't really answer this question properly but hopefully somebody else can. Folate is one of the B vitamins (B9). It assists function of vitamin B12, as well as the formation of 'haem' (the iron content of haemoglobin). It isn't 'iron' itself so the thyroid extract wouldn't bind to it. Luv - Sheila I have recently started taking NDT and understand that I must not take iron or calcium within 4 hrs of taking NDT. I would usually take NAX about an hour after taking my thyroid meds and with food, however I notice that there is ? Calcium in the NAX so I'm now wondering if I need to take it a few hours after taking my thyroid meds? I also take folate, would this be classed as Iron? Thanks for any help
