Hi, I am confused over how to take Armour. Two separate articles in the files

section contradict each other. One says to take Armour sublingually the othe

artical says Erfa is the only NDT designed to be taken sublingually and other

brands must be swallowed. Can anyone advise on this? xxx

The original formulae of Armour was designed specifically to be

taken sublingually. Forest (the manufacturers) then decided a couple of years

ago to reformulate Armour and they removed some of the dextrose and added in

more cellulose. This stopped Armour being able to be taken sublingually and now

you have to chomp it up with your teeth and then swallow it. Nature Throid and

Westhroid are also designed to be taken orally, but Erfa Thyroid (the Canadian

Licensed 'Thyroid') was designed to be taken sublingually. As far as I am

aware, even though some people say they take other brands sublingually, Erfa is

the ONLY brand designed specifically to do so.

Luv - Sheila

Hi

This was interesting to me as i recently wrote saying that i havent been feeling

very well at all lately - started taking Armour 2 wks ago. I now wonder if this

is partly due to the fact that I have just been swallowing the armour with water

and not chomping it first?? so thanks for your question which Sheila has

answered

We are all different and it's good that it works for you - it

does for some, but for those it doesn't, we advise them to chomp the tablet to

bits and then swallow drinking plenty of water or orange juice.
