Luv - Sheila HI SHEILA, Would you like me to have a go with the logo again as I still have the large layers on board my computer. Is it the phoenix design. Best wishes From Kathleen PS- What type of file do you require the logo in. Kathleen From: SheilaT <sheila@...> thyroid treatment Sent: Monday, 24 January, 2011 7:52:22 Subject: WANTED - Spomebody with graphic designing skills Dear Member I am writing to ask if you have graphic designing skills and if so, would you be happy and willing to help us with the 'sharpening up' of our present TPA logo please? Our present logo was designed at 72 dpi and then blown up, which makes the image look fuzzy on the web site, the forum and on our stationery. We ideally need a logo of a decent size, say 3 inches square minimum 300 dpi so when it is reduced for printing and for placing on the websites, it will be very sharp and clear. Please will you contact me if you feel you are able to help. Many thanks Sheila www.tpa-uk.org.uk

Guest guest
Hi Alison - is there anything we can help you with. Often we find that when somebody isn't getting better, there is often an associated condition going along with the thyroid problem that once identified and treated, helps the ball to start rolling again. Why are you bedridden? Is this because of pains in your body or sheer fatigue or something else? When did you last have your thyroid function tested and are you on any adrenal/thyroid medication? Have you been tested to see whether your levels are low in the reference range for ferritin, vitamin B12, vitamin D3, magnesium, folate, copper and zinc? We have had quite a few offers of help for the logo, so thanks for offering to 'fix' it if nobody came forward. I would just like to help 'fix' you. Luv - Sheila Dear Sheila, Hello - I used to be a graphic designer, before illness struck. I am unable to help right now as I am too ill - (bedridden and housebound most of the time). If you are able to wait until I'm better and if nobody else can help, please keep a note of this email, and I'd be happy to 'fix' the logo. I'm hoping to have an appointment with Dr Peatfield soon and I would just like to thank you for the TPA website which has been a fantastic help to me. Guest guest
Hi Kim, how lovely to hear from you again. How are things health wise and business wise? How strange that you should contact me at this time because now that we are a fully fledged registered charity, we have been planning things we need to do in the future. This includes the printing of our TPA 60 page Information Pack that is sent out mainly to those folk who don't have a computer. Eventually, we hope to be able to send a hard copy of the Newsletter out to folk, rather than it just being sent to members online, but we need to first get some funding for that. I was going to ask Jon whether he could give us rough estimate of what it would cost for say 3/400 x 60 pages with a decent front cover for the Information Packs. As information is bound to be updated in the future, we wouldn't need more than this at a time. I am also planning on producing A4 (3 fold) pamphlets on hypothyroidism, Type 2 hypothyroidism, Thyroid cancer, hyperthyroidism that would be placed in every GP's surgery and hospital waiting rooms. I know there are around 36,000 GP's (but many work together in one surgery) and 859 NHS endocrinologists, but I haven't yet worked out how many we would need printing. I am in the process of engaging self-employed, freelance bid-writers/fundraisers right now and we are drawing up a list of projects we need to raise funds for, so I would be really grateful if Jon could give me a rough estimate of the cost of these. I really hope you are doing well and that you have a wonderful New Year.
